A 28-year-old woman and three of her kids were found dead inside their home in Pune on July 28, 2019, the police believe the woman did the suicide pact due to financial hardships.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Fatima Bagwan, the 28-year-old mother, hanged her children to death before committing suidie.
The family was living in the Bhosri area of the Pimpri Chinchwad in Pune.
The 3 kids, which include 2 girls and 1 boy, are all below 9-years of age.
The police said that Fatima Bagwan was found hanging inside a different room inside the house, and the 3 children were found in a different room.
Akram Bagwan, the husband of Fatima, said that they usually had arguments about his income, which was unstable.
Akram works as a fruit vendor in the area.
The police added that they did not find any suicide letter inside the house.
A police officer from the Bhosri Police Station, said, “The family has recently moved to Bhosri area and has been staying in rented accommodation.”
The police officer added, “Akram and Fatima used to quarrel on his unsteady income.”
A case has been registered, the police are currently considering the case as a suicide case.
