The viral video of a 16-year-old mentally disabled kid that had a brick tied up at his genitals as part of punishment after an altercation broke out with the kids he was playing with has gone viral. The incident is believed to have happened in Shahjahanpur district, which is located in Uttar Pradesh, on May 26, 2019.

When the sister and other family members of the 16-year-old mentally disabled kid tried to register a complaint at the police, they were attacked by some of the family members of the kids who did the cruel act.

Hari Ram, the father of the 16-year-old, said that his son was playing with some kids in their village and when an altercation broke out between them, the kids beat him up and tied a brick to his genitals.

Hari Ram added that the kids also captured a video of the incident and shared it online.

Praveen Kumar Yadav, the police officer that is handling the case, said that they have seen the full video of the incident and added that they have launched a probe for the incident.

An FIR has been registered at the Banda Police Station for the said incident that happened on May 26, 2019.

A case has been filed against 6 people who are believed to be involved in the cruel act.
