World’s Largest Killer Hornet Found In China

On the border of Myanmar and China, the world’s largest killer hornet has been found, experts believe that this is a set of new species.

Experts from the Huaxi Insect Museum of Chendu, South China said that the find is the largest Asian Killer Hornet every to be found.

The largest killer hornet was discovered in an expedition to Yunnan, a place in southern China. The locals of Yunnan, led the specialist to a giant hive that was home to the hornet.

The Asian hornet is a wasp that is native to mountains and forests in the tropical environments and temperatures of East Asia.

The Hornets that have been found has a body length of 2.4 inches which is 6 cm and has a wingspan of 3.5 inches which is 9.35 cm. This made the hornet significantly larger than the previous record.

The Asian killer hornets are capable of growing up to 2 inches long and can even have a 3-inch wingspan, the killer hornets are known to be aggressive and they only eat honey bees and other smaller insects as their food.
