Man Gets Banned From Entering Yellowstone National Park After Trying To Cook Chickens In Hot Springs

A man from Idaho Falls gets banned from one of the most famous national parks in the United States of America.

It is reported that the man tried to cook chickens in a hot spring.

On August 7 this year, a Yellowstone National Park Ranger reportedly got a call and was informed that a group was hiking towards the Shoshone Geyser Basin with cooking pots.

People are not allowed to go to the area because the temperatures are notoriously dangerous.

They are not allowed to throw anything into the springs too!

After venturing along to meet the group, the ranger found 10 people, which also had a kid along with them.

The hikers had 2 whole chickens in a burlap sack sitting in a hot spring.

The spokesperson of the park said that the Idaho Falls man along with 2 others from the group was cited with foot travel in a thermal area.

The first man was also ordered to appear at a Mammoth Hot Springs Court.

On September 10, 2020, the man, whose identity was not released with the public, pleaded guilty to the citation along with other charges such as violating closures and usage limits.

The man was also asked to pay a massive $1200 fine.

He was also banned from the Yellowstone, a national park that encompasses three states: Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.

Not only that, but the man will also be serving 2 years of unsupervised probation.

This has to be one of the dumbest things one person could do in their life.
