Why Is Friendship Celebrated…??

Have you ever thought of why this Friendship is celebrated…?? There are many stories that history says us regarding this. One of which is, In 1935 American Government killed a guy on Saturday in the first week of August. The person who is very  best friend of that guy who was killed on Saturday  hanged himself to death on Sunday as his close friend died.

The US Government which was impressed by their friendship declared  August first Sunday as Friendship Day in the memory of those ever lasting friends and being celebrated as friendship day from that day onwards. The United States Congress, in 1935, proclaimed first Sunday of August as the National Friendship Day. Since then, celebration of Friendship Day became an annual and funniest event celebrated by one and all.
