Kota University successfully conducted BSTC (Basic School Teaching Certificate) examination in the month of April 2017 and the results of the same were also declared. The University of Kota (UOK) is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India. Kota University released notification and invited online applications for the BSTC 2017. A huge number of eligible and interested candidates applied for the 18,250 seats available under BSTC General course offered in 292 colleges and 1,220 seats in 16 colleges for BSTC Sanskrit course.

As per the data provided by Kota University, 62,543 candidates registered for online BSTC counselling, while some 60,271 deposited counseling fee. The number decreased further and only 59,596 candidates submitted their options of college/ course.
