Kannur University Degree 2nd Allotment Results 2017:

Kannur University was established in 1996 to provide development of higher education in Kasaragod, Kannur, and Wayanad districts of Kerala, India. It was established after the passing of Act No. 22 of 1996 of the Kerala Legislative Assembly. A university by the name of “Malabar University” had come into existence even earlier by the passing of an ordinance by the Governor of Kerala, on 9 November 1995.

Kannur University UG Degree Second Allotment 2017:

Kannur University is holding CAP 2017 for admissions to the degree programs under Choice Based Credit and Semester (CBCS) system in the Government/ Aided/ Self-financing colleges affiliated to Kannur University for the academic year 2017-18. The UG Degree seats available in the Government/ Aided/ Self-financing affiliated colleges are mainly classified as Merit Seats, Community Seats, Management Seats and Reservation Seats.

The allotment will be based on merit list of the students. However, merit, marks will be awarded for extracurricular activities like sports, NCC, NSS etc. These marks will be added to the marks obtained in the qualifying examination for preparing the rank list.

Kannur University Degree 2nd Allotment:

Students have to pay the admission fee of Rs 600 to confirm the seat. Candidates are required to login to the website and enter the details of State Bank facility reference number to confirm their seat allotment on or before Sunday, June 24, 2017 by 5 pm. The students will also get the chance to cancel their higher options till 5 pm on 24 June, otherwise, they will be considered as available for the third allotment and they will have to accept the newly allotted seat.
