Jawaharlal Nehru University Uploads 8,482 Degrees and Diplomas In National Academic Depository
The JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) uploaded 8482 degrees, certificates, and diplomas of BA, MA, M.Phil and Ph.D. students from all across the schools and special centers that are under the NAD (National Academic Depository). As the NAD is following their vision, an initiative that was created by the Government of India, to create an online place where all the academic related certificates can be stored, The JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) earned the distinction of creating outstanding strides in the Digital India movement.
This step is just one of the steps that the JNU has taken to attain the process of Digital India that will ensure transparency and efficiency in our present administration.
Since 2014, a total of 8482 certificates, degrees, and diplomas of BA, MA, M.Phil, and Ph.D students from all schools that includes special centres have been uploaded by the Jawaharlal Nehru University in the NAD.
The uploaded degrees in the NAD contains photographs and other personal details that will help identify the real student who took the exam, this NAD said that adding this enhances the security and privacy of the data that is being stored with them, it will also provide a 24×7 online system which they can access to retrieve their certificates.
