Driver Arrested For Trying To Race A Police Car

The Alpharetta Police Department said they arrested a driver who was trying to race a marked police car in Alpharetta, USA.

In a post that was made on the Facebook Page of the Alpharetta Police Department, the police said a police officer from their department observed a vehicle run a red light on North Point Parkway while the officer was in a marked vehicle.

As the officer was catching up to the driver to make the driver stop, another driver attempted to race the officer until he realized he was trying to race a police car.

The officer turned his attention to the red light runner so he could pull over the racer.

According to the police report, the racer was asked by the police officer why he was driving fast, the man said he saw the officer approaching quickly and thought it was someone trying to race him.

The police announced that the racer was driving a vehicle with a suspended license.

The man was arrested and was taken to jail.
