US Health Adviser Tells People To Not Touch Their Face, Then Licks Her Finger Afterwards

A health adviser in the United States of America is viral on social media right now after she was caught licking her finger after telling people to not touch their faces to avoid getting infected from the coronavirus.

While addressing a press conference in San Jose, California, Dr. Sara Cody, the director of the Santa Clara County Public Health Department, licked her index finger to turn a page from the document she was reading from.

According to Facebook Live, which went viral on social media, Dr. Cody can be seen talking about the deadly coronavirus as she listed out measures to prevent the risk of contracting it.

After a number of seconds, Dr. Cody was seen licking her fingers to turn the pages of her notes.

The internet unsparingly pointed out the ironic moment, and memes followed right away.

As of writing this article, the coronavirus has infected over 110,293 people all over the world and has killed 3,831 people.

It is said that 62,395 people have recovered from the deadly virus.
