Victoria Giattina, the assistant director of event management and external operations for the Bryant-Denny Stadium, said that a couple called them after attending the Crimson Tide’s 52-24 win over Texas A&M.
They reported that they had lost their diamond.
The couple said that they had searched their entire house and vehicle for the diamond ring, but they failed to find it.
Giattina said that they called them after getting their number on the internet.
The couple did not think that the diamond was at the stadium.
Giattina was given the task of searching the section where the couple had been seated on the morning of Monday.
2 days after the diamond got lost, the couple reported the diamond.
Despite the small chances of finding it, they managed to do something that many would have thought is unbelievable.
She said that they could not believe when the diamond was found 30 minutes after searching.
Talking about the diamond, Giattina said:
When I saw it, I was in shock. There’s no way. It’s literally laying here, shining so brightly. I was like, ‘Is this real?’
Giattina took images of her discovery, which became viral afterward.
The diamond was returned to the couple.
Gianna said that the couple that owns the diamond was extremely grateful for the kind act.
