AFCAT RESULT 2018:

AFCAT is a national level competitive exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) to select officers for all its branches, except for the medical and dental branches.For all entries other than NDA and CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT. The test is conducted twice a year in February and August. In the same way, it was also conducted in 2018 on February 25th.

RESULTS 2018: indian air force has recently released notification and also has conducted an examination named engineering knowledge test ( EKT ) on 25th February 2018. The time duration for the exam is 2 hours. It contains all multiple questions. It was conducted immediately after AFCAT. EKT was conducted for 45 minutes. So, the candidates appeared for the examination can check the result from the link which is provided below.

CUTOFF MARKS:

indian officers released results for commissioned officers in flying, ground duty ( technical ) and ground duty ( non- technical ) branches.

AFCAT: 150/ 300

EKT( ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE TEST ) : 60/ 150

Instructions for candidates: candidates who have applied only for flying branch are to select

  1. AFSB ( Dehradun ) 2. AFSB ( mysore ) or 3. AFSB ( Varanasi ) as their ASFB centre. 4. Airmen candidates who have appeared for SSB for less than six time should only select. 5. AFSB ( Kancharapara ) as SSB venue.no batches are planned yet. 6. AFSB after june 3th 2017. Contact JDPO-3 ( A/ B) air HQ (VB) for clarification.

POST EXAM PROCESS:

  1. The candidates must have passed AFCAT and EKT written examinations.
  2. Candidates will have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in the exam.
  3. The qualified candidates only will be processed for next levels.
  4. The selection process also includes various tests according to the post.
