The biggest film produces in east India has been arrested today, Shrikant Mohta was arrested in Kolkata today after cheating the Ponzi Chit Fund Company Rose Valley. Shrikant is known to be a close individual to the Trinamool Congress in the West Bengal, in a number of cases Shrikant was seen in their company.

Shrikant was arrested in Kolkata from his office in Kasba today. When the men from CBI arrived in his office, he called the police and said that there are a group of men that are creating a big disturbance outside his office, when the police saw that it was the CBI they immediately retreated.

It is rumored that Shrikant was ignoring the calls by the CBI, and today they gave him a visit. 2 cars went to his office in Kasba and arrested him.

Producer Shrikant Mohta was taken to the CBI’s office in Salt Lake, he was arrested there.

The CBI said that Producer Shrikant Mohta took Rs. 25 crores from Gautam Kandu who is the head of the chit-fund company Rose Valley, Gautam is currently behind the bars. Mohta was set to produce a couple of movies by that money, after not delivering what he promises Gautam Kandu asked for a refund from the produces, but instead he got warnings from him and along the conversation Mohta started to drop names of powerful people.
