100-Year-Old World War II Veteran Beats Coronavirus At Virginia Hospital

Virginia, USA: A 100-year-old World War II veteran has beaten the deadly coronavirus after spending 58 days constantly at a hospital in Virginia.

Lloyd Falk, the veteran, was one of the first coronavirus patients of the hospital when he got admitted on the hospital on March 24, 2020.

The announcement of him being diagnosed was done through a post by the HCA Healthcare’s Henrico Doctors Hospital on Facebook.

The sad part about this is that the wife of Falk died from the deadly virus a couple of weeks before he beat it.

They were married for 74 years.

The hospital said that despite losing his wife, Falk stayed strong in fighting the virus and surviving.

The care team of the hospital honored Falk and his late wife by cheering for him as he left the hospital on Wednesday.

The 100-year-old veteran will now begin his recovery and rehabilitation from the virus.
