The Central Board of Secondary Education on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC) has successfully conducted the National Eligibility Test (NET). This examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of the Indian national candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology. The examination was held on 28th June 2015. A large number of candidates appeared for the examination at 89 selected cities including Nagpur. The candidates who have written the examination are waiting for the result. University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) Results 2015:

The University Grants Commission (UGC) of India is a statutory body set up by the Indian Union government in 1956, and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education. Its headquarters is in New Delhi, and six regional centers in Pune, Bhopal, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Bangalore. UGC, along with CSIR currently conducts NET for appointments of teachers in colleges and universities. It has made NET qualification mandatory for teaching at Graduation level and at Post Graduation level since July 2009.

This year UGC conducted the National Eligibility Test to award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and to determine eligibility for appointment of Lecturers on 28th June 2015. The examination is conducted for 84 subjects at various examination centers. A huge number of candidates on topics such as Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.
