Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz will be seen next in Milan Luthria’s ‘Baadshaho’. She had to face the flip side of being a superstar a few days ago. Ileana had immersed herself in the ‘badass’ avatar when she lashed out at a male fan for misbehaving.
The 29-year-old actress, in a series of tweets, complained about how she is a ‘public figure’ lets people intrude her private place. She posted strongly worded tweets on Sunday. The actress revealed that fans started banging against the window of her car when she was stuck in traffic while on her way to a fashion event.
She saw her car getting stopped by a group of men at a traffic signal and started misbehaving with her on the road. Ileana was furious about the incident and took to Twitter to vent her anger out and also spoke about the ugly experience in a recent interview.
“They started banging against the window, pressing themselves against the car, one of them even lying down on the top of the bonnet and laughing. I’ve been eve teased when I was younger, but I didn’t expect guys to misbehave to this level at this age,” Ileana said.
In a series of tweets, Ileana wrote,
“It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private & an anonymous life. But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse “fan antics” with that. I am a woman at the end of the day.”

The actress was on her way to the Lakme Fashion Week 2017 when the incident happened. She was taken by surprise by the actions of the men as one of them even laid down on the bonnet of her car. She said that she first thought of taking pictures of the lunatics and shaming them publically.
However, since that could have encouraged them to misbehave with her further, she had to resist the idea. She shared that the men followed her car even after the signal turned green and was also feared for the safety of her chauffeur. They could have beaten him up and I wouldn’t have been able to stop them. So the only thing my chauffeur could do was honk while I ignored their antics.
When asked about filing a complaint, she said, since I had no clue who these men were, I might move on this time and try handling things differently “if, God forbid, it happens again.”
Earlier, actresses Vidya Balan and Swara Bhaskar also shared disturbing incidents in which they were touched inappropriately.
