‘Because Of Your Poor Way Of Thinking’, Says Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Ex-Girlfriend Sunita Rajwar On The Actor’s Autobiography

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, much acclaimed and hailed as one of the India’s most versatile actors is well known for the eccentric roles he chooses all the way. Starting with ‘Manjhi-The Mountain Man’ he never left a stone unturned in justifying his role, he often leveled the story of the respective movie with his contemporary acting throughout the movie, irrespective of the length or the screen presence he gets.

Nawaz shines bright even if it is his life off-screen, his being bold and open persona is what everybody admires about him. Now after a while, this ‘Manjhi’ actor is once again on news for his shocking revelations in his autobiography. He scripted various incidents that took place in his personal life which also includes his love affair.

Earlier, there were circulations on media that Nawaz is dating his co-actor Niharika Singh, the duo worked together for “Miss Lovely”. On a brief note, director Anurag Kashyap who is one good friend of Nawaz also opened up about this in an interview.

Despite all those edgeless assumptions, Nawaz himself has revealed the clear details in his autobiography “An Ordinary Life: A Memoir”. In his book, he opened up more about his personal life, talked about his love affairs. Earlier, he revealed his love story with actress Niharika Singh.

The actress bashed Nawaz’s comments, said, “Nawaz and I had a brief relationship in 2009 during the making of Miss Lovely that lasted less than a few months. So today, when he paints me as a woman in fur enticing him into her bedroom with candles, or desperately calling him and emailing other women on his behalf, I can only laugh. He obviously wants to sell his book and it would appear that he is willing to exploit and disrespect a woman just to do so.”

She even concluded that she still respects him as an actor but has never expected such talks from him, added that she had assumed his acting skills are limited to the screen.

Now, soon after that, in another part of the book, Nawaz now spoke about his first love story, the story with actress Sunita Rajwar, which is believed as his first love story ever. In the book, he wrote about his life after the break-up, mentioned that he was “plunged into deep, deep depression” after she left him.

An excerpt from the book read, “I took a bucket of fresh white paint and began to replace her artwork on my walls with the blank canvas that they were before”, added that Sunita wanted to “date someone successful, not a struggling, desperate actor who was out of work.” And he also said, “today, Sunita tells everybody that she was once together with me in a very serious relationship.”

Sunita dismissed all those things said by Nawaz, of which in one part, Nawaz’s book read, “You remember those old-fashioned hearts with the names of lovers in it, sometimes with an arrow across it, sometimes without? Her doodles (on his wall) were something like that.”

She said that they both are NSD graduates, but, never met in college or outside. She mentioned everything in a Facebook post, read it below:

She claimed that Nawaz has always been a sympathy seeker from the very beginning. She asks him why does he forget that Sunita was much more of a struggler at the time than him. While Nawaz had his own house to put up in, she had to move into a friend’s apartment until the career gets kicked-in.

Answering to the reason behind their break-up, Nawaz said that she left him because he was poor and jobless. Sunita counters him saying that she was actually disgusted by Nawaz because she had found out that Nawaz had been revealing intimate details of their affair with some mutual friends while making fun of it. And, that is what made her infuriated ending her breaking-up with him.

On a brief note, she concluded, “I did not leave you because you were poor, but because of your poor way of thinking.”
