Prem Ratan Dhan Payo/Prema Leela Movie Story Line:

The story of the film is similar to that of the popular tale “The Prince and the Pauper”, and here Salman plays the role of a king (Vijay) and a common man (Prem). The king wants to lead a normal life away from his kingdom, while his evil stepbrother (played by Neil Nitin Mukesh) wants to take away the throne from him.

However, things change when the king exchanges his identity with a common man, who looks like him. Prem ‘Dilwala’ is a happy-go-lucky man who does ‘Ramleelas’ in Ayodhya, India. He knows all the shlokas by heart and the purity of the scriptures resonates in all his pranks.

All that he earns, he donates to a charitable fund which is run by Princess Maithili (Sonam Kapoor). He is enchanted by the simplicity of her nature, her way of leading a normal life and yet being brave enough to save people in the middle of floods. He sets out to meet her and soon the two develop a pure bond of love. The film represents the unconditional love that all families must have for each other.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo/Prema Leela Movie Review:

The film throws you in a suspense right from the starting; Salman Khan is in a double role. Every single scene of PRDP will catch our eyes. It is truly a cinematic family movie. The first half of the film is entertaining and full of fun while the second half comes with various mysteries and stories.

The movie is basically a fully packed package of love & drama and the script as well as the songs of the movie are very much appreciated by audience especially by youth. Despite every effort of Salman Khan, PRDP couldn’t prove itself to the best entertainer in all sense like Bajrangi Bhaijaan or Baahubali.

Plus Points:

  • Salman Khan
  • Good 1st Half
  • Chemistry between Salman & Sonam Kapoor
  • Visuals

Negative Points:

  • Screenplay
  • Outdated story Line
