Ranveer Singh Gives A Tight-Slapping Reply To Everyone Who Trolled Him For Tweeting ‘Losing My Religion’

The current generation’s methodic actor Ranveer Singh never fails to impress us, be it his dramatic transformations for his characters in films or his out of the box fashion choices. After Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani’s blockbuster successes, all eyes are set on Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone once again as their upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ is set to release.

The film is centered around the life of Rani Padmini who is being played by Deepika, while Ranveer appears as Alauddin Khilji. It also stars Shahid Kapoor, essaying Maharawal Ratan Singh. The movie is all set to release on December 1 as Ranveer Singh, who plays Alauddin Khilji in the grand epic, has wrapped up his portion of the saga. He turned up for a celebration by his co-star Deepika Padukone.

The actor’s aggressive avatar as Khilji caught the attention of Bollywood buffs. He sports kohl eyes, long tresses, and a scar on his face for the role of the anti-hero in the period drama. Deepika essays the title role in the movie, which sets out to tell the tale of the valor and heroism of Rajputs. Shahid Kapoor features as her husband.

After the shooting of the film was wrapped up, there were reports that the 32-year-old had to seek medical treatment to get out of his character. Recently, Singh expressed his thoughts on Twitter by sharing a photo and captioned it: “Losing my religion!”

This tweet from Ranveer drew much attention from social media, people went thrashing the actor for his caption.

There are chances that the actor might be referring the caption to American Rock band ERM’s popular song by the same name from the album Out of Time, the Twitterati lost its mind on reading the caption. They were miffed with his words and began criticizing him.

While some took his words quite literally and wrote that he shouldn’t have written it on his Twitter handle even if he felt that way, others thought he wrote it because apparently, he was still unable to come out of his character of Alauddin Khilji from Padmavati.

Twitter Reactions:

As you can see, most of the posts have to do with Ranveer’s upcoming release, Padmavati. While there were enough who tried to express that “their sentiments were hurt” many defended Singh and asked the trollers to take a chill pill, since the three words that make up his caption actually come from a very famous song.

While all this is in a high swing on one side, Ranveer has now come up with another badass tweet which roughly looked like his reply to the trollers.  He quoted the lines of Eminem, “And I am, whatever you say I am, If I wasn’t, then why would I say I am? In the paper, the news every day I am, Radio won’t even play my jam”.

Well, people should have ticked their brains once or twice before messing up with Ranveer, after all, he is not the one who can be irked by petty comments, but the vessel full of badassery.
