Varun Dhawan In Trouble For Tweet Praising ‘Dance Plus 3’ Reality Show

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is not just an actor but also a very good dancer. He is known for his kind and expressive nature. The actor speaks his mind and heart out when it comes to complimenting anyone from the industry. Varun Dhawan recently did the same but unknowingly fell into trouble. An innocent tweet from his end landed him in trouble.

There are many dance reality shows being telecasted on the television channels and Bollywood actors appearing on these shows to promote their movies is a common thing nowadays. Varun Dhawan got a crash course in how to be a brand ambassador when an innocent tweet from his end landed him in trouble.

It all happened during Shah Rukh Khan’s recent appearance on Dance Plus Season 3 to promote his upcoming flick ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. He had a great time on the show and he was surprised with the talent that the contestants showed in their dance acts.

Choreographer turned director Remo D’Souza is the judge on the show. The episode saw Shah Rukh Khan walk down memory lane, with heartfelt tributes from Remo D’Souza and his team.

As well know that Varun has worked with Remo in ‘ABCD 2’, Varun Dhawan, who watched that episode and expressed his emotions for the show on Twitter saying, “Dance Plus definitely has the best live dance acts on TV. Superb.”

Varun wanted to support and encourage Remo. But, soon Varun was forced to delete the tweet. As Varun is the brand ambassador of Sony SAB TV, this didn’t go well with the channel that its brand ambassador praised a show of its rival channel.

“It was a clear case of clash of interests. Varun did it with honest intentions, without thinking of the consequences. But it didn’t go down well with Sony,” a source said. It is being alleged that the PR team of SAB TV told Varun to delete the tweet and as he is under contract, he needs to abide by the rules and regulations.
