Just in a term for March Madness, Facebook has rolled out an update to Messenger that allows you to play a basketball mini-game with your friend right from the conversation window.

How to Get Started?

  • To get started, you need to locate the basketball emoji, (Simply copy and paste,? if you can’t find it in your growing emoji list)
  • Send it to any of your friends with whom you wish to play the game. Then, just tap on the emoji to load the game.
  • You’ll then get a basketball placed in different locations at the bottom of your screen.
  • All you have to do is simply swipe up in order to toss the ball into the hoop. The goal is to challenge your friend to see who can get the most baskets in consecutively.

  • Although, it gets harder! After getting 10 points, the backboard starts moving, and after 20, it moves faster.
