Ever since the Salman Khan’s latest blockbuster film Sultan has hit the screens, the film’s leading lady Anushka Sharma, who essayed the role of Aarfa – a promising wrestler, has been criticized for sacrificing her Olympic medal dream to become a mother. Some people were not happy that Anushka Sharma’s character in the movie chooses motherhood over her career.
Anushka Sharma, who never shies to give her own opinions on burning issues, has now addressed this criticism by citing an example of Belarusian professional tennis player Victoria Azarenka to explain her character, Aarfa’s decision in the film.

Sultan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and touted to be a sports-drama, has garnered immense success at the box-office.
