English Section:
If we look into the paper as job seeker and aspirant of IBPS CWE Clerk, exam was good with good number of question which constituted simple and moderately difficult questions. 20 questions predominantly appeared from grammar part and the approximate time needed for the candidate to deal with the section is 30 to 35 minutes. Candidates who cut down this time to 20 minutes will be the ultimate winner in the exam.
Reading Comprehension:
This section had passages with an average of 550 to 500 words which is easily readable and can be answered in the allotted time period for the aspirants who had good practice. While we sensed that one passage was time consuming and was lengthy, the other one was of moderate range and the 2 more were simple to read. Though the passages are difficult to read there is nothing complicated to answer. On the whole were constituted in this section with 16 questions in total from 4 passages.
Grammar:
Grammar section IBPS CWE Clerk 2014 was of 20 questions which have been truly based on concepts of grammar. At the same we felt that 5 questions appeared from inappropriate usage of the word. 10 appeared on identification part of a sentence. These questions were considered as mixture of moderately difficult and simple questions. Other 5 questions were on grammatically correct option in the sentence given.
Vocabulary:
Vocabulary section constituted 14 questions where 10 of them were from cloze test and 4 questions appeared from fill in the blanks. These questions were moderately difficult actually.
Quantitative Aptitude:
On considering the quantitative part which has immense importance in the IBPS CWE Clerk exam was lengthy and time consuming. There have been 5 questions on series , 5 questions on simplification (decimal value) , 5 questions on inequalities , 15 question on Data interpretation ( 1 table question , 1 garph question , 1 venn diagram questions), 1 questions from Simple interest , 1 questions from Time and Work , and others.
Reasoning:
Reasoning part of the exam was with 5 questions on syllogisms (possibility type ) , 2 puzzles ( 1 puzzle is 9 members are there sitting in a circle , all are facing center and another puzzles from seven floor is there lower floor is 1 and top floor is 7 , each have been one profession( Doctor ,lawyer, farmer ,professor , engineer etc…) and named as P ,Q ,R ,S ,T ,U ,V , W ) , 2 to 3 question on cause-effect , 5 questions on coding and decoding , 5 question on statement based etc…
