Baahubali – The Conclusion Is All Set To Release In China In July

Baahubali: The Conclusion which released in April, continues its run in theaters with collections of Rs 1,600 plus crore. The film broke several records with its box-office collection and the Hindi version alone earned Rs 500 crore.

While Baahubali 2 continues its dream run at the box office, an interesting news about the film has made it online. The makers of Baahubali – The Conclusion are now all set to release the film in China in July this year.

The SS Rajamouli directorial, that went on to become the first Indian film to cross the Rs 1500 crore worldwide collection milestone, now aims to create a new record by crossing the Rs 2000 crore mark after it hits the Chinese silver screen sometime in the end of July.

According to the reports, the makers of the film will dub the film in Mandarin in order to cater to the Chinese audiences instead of having subtitles in the language.

Speaking about the release, Kishore Kedari of Arka Media Works said, “It will be the next Indian film after Dangal to release in China, and we are excited about its possibilities. Dangal has done record business in China and its exemplary response has upped the quotient for Indian films.”

The first part of the film – Baahubali: The Beginning – had a record release in China as it opened on 6000 screens but the second half will have a bigger release. Baahubali 2 will have a new International version, which will be edited by a noted Hollywood editor.

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Dangal received an overwhelming response and it’s the first Indian film to enter the Rs 1000-crore mark in China. Dangal has officially beaten the records of Baahubali 2 to emerge as the highest grossing Indian film, raking in more than Rs 1700 crore worldwide.

‘Dangal’ which released in China about a month back has become the 14th foreign film and the first non-Hollywood film to garner over Rs 990 crores at the Box Office. As per trade experts, Baahubali 2 is very likely to create history in China too.

Though Baahubali continues to make waves, Prabhas has already moved on to his next project Saaho, which he says will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
