After a string of online rumours of his ill-health, thespian DilipKumar Tuesday emerged out of his hibernation from Twitter to ensure his fans know that he’s well. He has thanked everyone for their concern. “Phone calls from all over the world. All night. Your love and prayers and Allah’s blessings cannot be thanked enough” the 91-year-old tweeted following almost a day of rumours about his health scare.

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has resurfaced on Twitter to dismiss several rumours of his illness. The actor first tweeted on November 25. On Thursday he even posted a picture with his wife Saira Banu. He posted, “Spent a lovely evening in our Pali Hill home-garden with Saira.”
Dilip Kumar is no stranger in internet death hoaxes. In 2011, his wife issued a public statement to clear rumours of his death. Recently Dilip Kumar, 91, and Saira Banu, 70, recently attended Salman Khan’s sister Arpita’s wedding reception in Mumbai. The evergreen couple was welcomed with due respect.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan put an end to online rumours about Dilip Kumar’s death by tweeting that veteran actor was “perfectly fine“. Rumours about Dilip Kumar’s death spread online last evening prompting Bachchan to call Saira Banu.
“Some baseless rumours being spread about Yusuf Saheb – Dilip Kumar, being ill .. Saira ji just informed me he is perfectly fine!,” Bachchan, 72, tweeted.
