Filipino Couple Gets Married As Taal Volcano Erupts Behind Them

As we all know, the Taal volcano has erupted in Batangas, the Philippines, and it has sent out clouds of ash and smoke into the air.

Chino Vaflor and Kat Bautista Palomar, 2 lovebirds, were about to get married 10 kilometers away from the Taal Volcano, but the volcano erupted.

But that fact didn’t stop them from getting married.

According to local news agencies, the couple decided to go ahead with the wedding despite the volcano erupted.

As thousands of people were being evacuated, the couple was getting married.

The Taal volcano is located in the south of Manila, the capital city of the Philippines.

The Taal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Philippines.

Randolf Evan, a Photographer, captured some stunning images of Chino Vaflor and Kat Bautista Palomar saying “I do” as clouds of ash and smoke swirl in the distance behind them.

The pictures left a lot of people impressed on Social Media.

During an interview with CNN, Randolf Evan, the photographer, said, “We were actually nervous because while working we kept on checking social media for updates on the volcanic eruption. So we were actually aware of the warnings and escalating levels that was being announced real time.”

He added, “We also discussed discreetly among ourselves what we should do when worst comes to worst.”

A user who saw the pictures said, “Photos seen here in France too. Congratulations!”

Another user said, “Spectacular photos!”

Earlier this week, the Philippines government warned that the Taal Volcano was unleashing a potentially catastrophic eruption.

The volcano is spewing a lot of ash.

Authorities are currently struggling to keep evacuees, which numbers are around 50,000, of whom fled to shelters after the Taal Volcano burst to life.
