Marakathamani Movie Story Line:
The story is all about the Marakathamani. In 1990, an archaeologist retrieves the gem belonging to the 19th century and keeps it to himself only to be hit by an unidentified vehicle. It is later revealed that 132 people who had possession of the gem were hit by the same vehicle. On the other hand, Raghunandan (Aadhi) flees to the city from Anantapuram to escape money lenders. He joins his friend Bujji who works under a small smuggling Don to make some quick bucks. Other than accompanying Bujji, Raghunandan has feelings for Alekhya (Nikki Galrani) who gets married to someone else.
Fed up with the small money that they are making and in a bid to clear his Rs 40 lakh debt, Raghu and his friend embark on a journey to retrieve Marakathamani. How and what happens when they meet a Swamiji ( Kota Srinivas Rao) seeking help for the same kick starts the hilarious flow of incidents that are entertaining.
