In director Ram Gopal Varma’s one final attempt to boost the publicity of his new release Ice Cream 2, he has pitted the God’s from the two Telugu states and its people against each other. He sparked off yet another controversy with his tweets on Yadagiri Narasimha temple.
RGV Controversial Tweets in Twitter:
Ram Gopal Varma, in his comments which were clearly aimed at attracting controversy, said that people in Telangana worship the Telugu God Balaji more that the local God Yadigiri Narasimha. Doesn’t this mean Telangana people thinking lesser of their own God in comparison to the Andhra people’s God, he instigated them through the question. This is perfectly in line with the sensationalist comments the director has been making from time to time to be in news. But isn’t all this a little too obvious now?
Ice Cream 2, director’s new film is hitting the screens this Friday. Will all his gimmicks lead to some moolah at the box office, at least this time or will it be the same as usual.
Following are his Tweets:
Is it Right that Telangana people pray to Andhra people’s Balaji more than their own Yadagiri Narasimha ?
I am not a believer in God but I feel it’s insulting to Yadagiri Narasimha that Telangana people pray to Andhra people’s Balaji more. Like you love your own country shouldn’t you be praying to your own states God instead of praying to another States God?
Isn’t it correctly wrong that Telangana people think of their own God Yadagiri Narasimha lesser than Andhra people’s God?
I am very happy the KCR is developing Yadagiri gutta nd I think this act of his wil make Telangana people realise the value of their own God.
Let us wait for the response of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh People and officials on his tweets. Stay Tuned to this website for more and more updates.
