Thus, the luxury car-maker has devised a clever trick to prevent them being stolen and it is shown in the video below.

In this video, Florida Rolls-Royce Official Mark Powell demonstrates that it’s almost impossible to pinch or stole the ornament unless you’re really so quick which is impossible. This mechanism is apparently a standard feature included on all of Rolls Royce’s vehicles since 2004.

This feature or brilliantly engineered spring-loaded mechanism ensures that the “Spirit of Ecstasy” remains a permanent part of the car. The hood ornament can be raised again from inside the car with the help of a button once its rightful owner returns.
