Veere Di Wedding: Movie Review

Veere Di Wedding which released today and clashed with Bhavesh Joshi is the story of four friends who reunite after ten years and there experience and realisation of how much has life changed in 10 years.
Starting with Sonam Kapoor which will be her first movie release after her wedding as well as Kareena’s first movie after she became a mother who for her fans is a long-awaited film.

In the movie Kalindi (Kareena Kapoor Khan) is having second thoughts about her marriage which is about to happen with Rishabh (Sumeet Vyas) and Avni (Sonam Kapoor) Sakshi (Swara Bhaskar); Meera (Shikha Talsania) has come to reunite for her wedding.

It has shown a lot of stereotype of our society, and all of the girls are going through there own problems.

Avni (Sonam Kapoor) is desperate for marriage as she is not able to find the right guy and dealing with nagging from her mother, Sakshi (Swara Bhaskar) wants a divorce from her husband and Meera (Shikha Talsania) is busy raising a two year old however even her marriage is nothing close to perfect.

All girls are from Delhi and are bold, carefree who eats, drink and smoke and talk about sex and sex toys openly and cuss a lot. None of them is afraid to speak their mind and sticks with their decisions, and they love getting high.

However, at some point, the movie becomes a bit slow because of the constant chanting of the 4, in other words, it feels a bit stretched out. The film has some fantastic laugh out loud moment, but it does feel a bit stretched out.

But, being a movie which talks about stereotypes and breaks a lot of them plus its a bold film with characters who are outspoken over all the movie is fun.

All the characters are played amazingly by all the lead actress, and the direction is smart. The boldness of the movie has been hidden by the funny parts and laugh out loud moments of the film.

In the end, it’s a decent movie which is not a waste of time if you are planning to watch this you may enjoy it a lot.
