Who isn’t aware of perverts on social networking sites who love to send obscene messages, especially if you’re a woman. These perverts are not afraid of anyone, as normally a lady will either block their accounts or just report it to the website but journalist Rana Ayyub chose a different option.
Indian journalist Rana Ayyub, who is an independent columnist based in New Delhi, has been receiving several messages from strangers on her Facebook account. But she decided to put one of those up on Twitter because of its vulgar language.
The man identified as Bincy Lal Balachandran is 31-years-old and hails from Kerala. He worked at Alpha Paint in Dubai, a sister company of National Paints in Sharjah, as a customer service employee. He sent some vulgar messages to Ayyub on Facebook.
On April 6, Rana took to Twitter and shared the screenshot of messages that Bincy had sent her on Facebook, adding that this was just an example of messages she received every day.
Just a sample of the filth i receive on my facebook page. Time to name and shame this pervert pic.twitter.com/e6xeA019JF

Some of her followers reported the matter to the UAE company on 7 April 2017. The Result? The man had to lose his job.
Humanity is alive. I am told that the person who wrote this to me has been sacked from his job following a complaint by a good samaritan 🙂 https://t.co/Yy2TvdahkK

An investigation was carried out on the online profiles of Bincy Lal and it was found that he had regularly been sending vulgar messages to women and about Islam. The company where Bincy used to work also apologized to Rana on behalf of their employee.
National paints , Sharjah just called me to apologise on behalf of the company for the harassment i faced from their ex-employee Bincy lal

But that was not all. Acting on her tweets and formal complaint, the UAE government also canceled Bincy’s visa and deported him back to India.
UAE govt has revoked Bincy Lal’s visa and r deporting him back to India. A lesson for those who harass us, will drag you out of ur ratholes

Ayyub told BuzzFeed that even though she gets a lot of abusive messages from guys online, she decided to share Lal’s because he blatantly messaged her from his own profile, in which his wife was with him in his display picture.
Kudos to you Rana! You must be praised for coming out in open against a pervert and making him punished for his disgusting act.
