4-Year-Old Girl Is Rescued Without Any Injuries 91 Hours After Earthquake Hit Turkey

Miracles happen, and the best example is this story.

A 4-year-old girl has been rescued 4 days after a massive earthquake in the countries of Greece and Turkey earlier this week.

Videos that were shared with the public shows the little girl under a pile of rubble that is believed to be debris from a collapsed apartment building.

The incident happened in Izmir, Turkey.

The 4-year-old girl was wrapped up in a blanket before being placed in an ambulance so she could be brought to a hospital.

Onlookers and rescuer workers clapped and cheered after the girl was rescued.

The best thing about this news is that the girl did not have any injuries, she was just trapped under the rubble.

Official reports suggest that the 4-year-old girl was trapped for around 91 hours since the earthquake hit in Turkey.

Nusret Aksoy, a rescuer that found the girl, said that he heard the screams of the girl so he asked other rescuers to keep it down.

They then went on to locate the girl.

Fellow rescuers spotted the arm of the 4-year-old girl between blocks of concrete and rubble.

The kid was found in a place that was once a kitchen.

She was saved by a washing machine and a dishwasher.

The team said that the 4-year-old girl then told them her name and confirmed that she was not harmed.

She then asked for some water and ayran, a yogurt drink in Turkey.

A rescuer said that the girl was smiling and was waiting for them.

Tunc Soyer, the mayor of Izmir, Turkey, released a statement about the rescue and said:

We have witnessed a miracle in the 91st hour. Rescue teams pulled out [the] four-year-old alive. Along with the great pain we have experienced, we have this joy as well.

Tragically, the mother was reportedly found dead.

God bless the girl and may her mother’s soul rest in peace.
