3 Indian nationals that are working in UAE have won the mega monthly jackpot draw in Abu Dhabi, confirmed the local news media reports.

Jijesh Korothan, who is a resident of Kannur District, Kerala, won 20 million dirhams along with 2 others at the Big Ticket Raffle Draw, which was held on Friday.

The news was confirmed by the Gulf News.

Korothan, a driver, who has been living in Ras Al Khaimah for the past 15 years, shares the win with 2 other Indian ex-pats in the UAE.

The 2 other winners are also drivers.

Mr. Korothan said that the money that we won will go towards his 7-year-old daughter’s education.

He will also open up a luxury car rentals business.

Korothan added, “It has been a tough month. I have had no work at all. I was in a desperate situation and about to send my family back. This win is nothing but a miracle.”

The Big Ticket Draw was held on Friday.

The entire draw was live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube due to the lockdown caused by the coronavirus.
