“Peace Calendar” for India and Pakistan to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Peace Calendar for India and Pakistan released by the Aaghaz-e-Dosti organization

Indo-Pakistan Peace Calendar for 2019 was released yesterday to send a message for the Indian and Pakistani government.

In the event, army veterans and students were gathered to release the calendar. This is the initiative of the Aaghaz-e-Dosti organization that is continuously working to enhancing the relationship of India and Pakistan.

The peace calendar includes paintings from students that are from Pakistan and India, also the paintings highlights peace. There were 6 paintings that were selected from India and Pakistan.

Writer Sudheendra Kulkarni the former aide of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, said that gathering today’s youth can play a big part in the peace of the two countries.

He even recalled how happy the people were when bus, trains, and trade services were happening, he also added that more steps should be taken in this part.

TK Kaul the executive president of India Pakistan Soldiers Initiative for Peace, who is a Retired Major General also talked about those veterans from both India and Pakistan who are still hoping and are advocating for peace.
