Rare 2-Headed Wolf Snake Discovered In India, Baffles Wildlife Experts As Its 2 Heads Fight Over Food
An extremely rare 2headed wolf snake was discovered in India and it is baffling wildlife experts as its 2 heads were seen by locals fighting over food.
The rare snake was found in the Dhenkikot forest range of Keonjhar wildlife sanctuary in Odisha, eastern India.
Rakesh Mohalick, a man from the Keonjhar District, found the snake.
The snake was reportedly newborn and was identified as the Wolf Snake, which is a non-venomous snake.
Mohalick, a wildlife enthusiast and photographer, identified the snake because he also does some research about them.
He said the snake was around 14 cm long and has 2 fully formed heads, which also means it has 4 eyes and 2 tongues.
Both its head work independently, which also means it will have a lot of a hard time surviving in the wild.
He said that one of the heads is slightly more developed than the other head.

The snake was released by Rakesh back into the wild.
