But is it really a blessing? Because the devotees can be seen cleaning their heads after the priest would bless them.

In a video that was shot by a resident of Odisha, it shows a number of people sitting on the side of a busy road, while waiting for the priest to bless them.

In the video, you can see the temple priest placing his feet on the head.

The video was shared by ANI, a news agency, and they said it was shot on Vijayadashami.

After the priest blesses the devotees, you can see the devotees cleaning their heads by padding off the dirt.

As some clean, others bow down so they could be blessed.

The video was filmed in Banpur, which is a small area located in Khorda District.
