This 97-year-old grandma from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is living proof that a lifetime’s dedication to yoga will keep you as flexible as a rubber band. Given her old age, Nanamaal, is still bending over backwards to spread the benefits of the ancient Indian art. She has been practising yoga for a long time without missing a single day. She is fit and fine and has never visited the hospital. And she credits all her fitness to yoga and strict diet.
“I have been practising yoga since my childhood. I have five children and all of them practice and teach yoga regularly. I still live strong and healthy due to my love for the exercise and I have neither visited the hospital nor used any medicines till now,” said Nanamaal. Meanwhile, her diet involves only pulses and cereals and she avoids rice and non-vegetarian food items.
A video by ‘The News Minute’ shows about this grand old lady, who is living a super fit life and inspiring everyone to do the same.
