8869 Job Vacancies Under Tamil Nadu Postal Circle, Bihar Postal Circle, And Odisha Postal Circles
The India Post announced job vacancies in Tamil Nadu Postal Circle, Bihar Postal Circle, and Odisha Postal Circle.
The recruitment is for the posts of:
- Assistant Branch Postmaster
- Dak Sevak
- Gramin Dak Sevaks-Branch Postmaster
Candidates for the job posts are required to have class 10 pass qualifications and must be 18-40 years old. All candidates are also required to have a qualifying degree with having passing grades in subjects English and Mathematics.
Applicants are also required to be fluent with the local languages of Odia, Tamil, and Bihar. The last submission date for applications will be on April 15, 2019.

The official job notification says, “Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts. In case of a candidate having knowledge of riding a scooter or motorcycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling. The candidate has to submit a declaration to this effect.”

Candidates are going to be selected on the basis of the grades they got in their Class 10 board exams.
