A shark that is called by experts Deep Blue is making headlines all over the world because it is the largest great white shark ever to be recorded in human history.

Yes, human history.

Great white sharks are considered by many as the world’s deadliest animals because of the sheer size and capability of mauling anyone to death in a matter of seconds.

Deep Blue is the largest ever to be recorded in history.

The female shark is a whopping 6 meters in length and around 2.5 meters tall.

Marine biologists were left flabbergasted after discovering the shark.

Also, Deep Blue is a female and experts believe that this shark is around 50 years old.

The shark is 2.5 tonnes heavy.

Deep Blue was first identified in the 1990s, however, her existence was confirmed by the authorities after she was captured in a video in 2013.

Marine Biologist Mauricio Hoyos Padilla was conducting research with their team when they spotted this shark swimming around their boat.

Padilla said that the shark was the biggest female that they have ever seen in their life.

The best thing about this that the entire incident was caught on cam and the images of the shark were shared on social media.

Despite the shark circling around the boat, everything was done to protect everyone inside.

On the second day, the team got in the water and waited.

The shark came and she was reportedly very calm and she circled around them.

Michael Maier, a videographer and diving enthusiast, captured the entire moment on camera.

Talking about the moment, Maier said:

Everything was very well prepared, and the whole team felt safe.On the second day, I was in the water, and we had to wait. But all of a sudden, there she came. Deep Blue was very calm and just doing circles around us. That’s when we realized how big she was.

It is believed that the shark is likely still growing by several millimeters each year.

At the time when the experts saw Deep Blue, she had a big tummy, which made the crew of the boat believe that she was pregnant.

However, other experts believe that a feast could also be responsible for her enlarged stomach.
