Black Panther Caught Roaming Freely In Indian Forest, Government Will Not Reveal Location

A video of a black panther roaming a forest in India freely is currently viral on social media, and that’s not even the best thing about it.

The video, which was filmed somewhere in India, is viral and the government said the location of the place will not be shared with the public.

Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan was the one that shared the video on social media.

The video was reportedly forwarded to him by staff at the forest.

Kaswan said the exact location of the black panther will not be shared with the public to avoid poachers from hunting the animal.

While sharing the video on social media, Officer Kaswan said: “The black panther of India. Location will not be revealed. Forwarded by staff.”

The video shows the black cat sitting on the side of the road.

The black panther turned to look at the people that were filming it, but they went on walking forward and stopped again to look back.

The video has over 150,000 views after it was shared on Twitter, a social media website in India.

A number of people that saw the video went on to leave comments and ask the IFS officer to remove the audio of the video.

People are concerned because some of the watchers might guess the location by tracking the language that was being spoken.

Officer Kaswan also talked about Black Panthers that are found in India.

He said:

Black panther is found in many states in India. It is melanistic common leopard only. The idea is not to reveal exact location. Otherwise people are aware about where this animal is found. There are number of PAs in India where black panther is present.

What an amazing catch!
