Donald Trump Honors Hero Dog Conan For Assisting Raid On ISIS Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

Donald Trump, the president of the United States of America, honored Conan, the dog that assisted the raid on Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, an ISIS leader that was killed during a raid earlier this year.

Conan was honored by President Trump at the White House Rose Garden.

President Trump was pictured standing next to Conan and was seen saluting him for his courageous efforts.

Conan reportedly helped a team track down Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi during their raid.

Conan was flown to Washington all the way from the Middle East for the honoring event at the White House.

During the awarding ceremony, Donald Trump said, “Conan is a tough cookie. No one is going to mess with Conan.”

Before the honoring, Trump tweeted a picture of himself placing a medal around the neck of the animal.

President Trump said, “This is the ultimate fighter. Ultimate everything. It’s incredible, the sense of smell, or whatever it may be.”

He added, “They were going to put a muzzle on the dog and I thought that was a good idea, but then it gets even more violent.”

After the raid happened, President Donald Trump announced that he is going to award the dog that helped conduct the raid.

President Trump posted a picture of Conan on Twitter, and said, “We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!”

Conan’s identity was declassified after the raid and this was because the public interest that was shown towards the dog was too high.

The personal dog handler of Conan was kept secret because of security reasons and public safety.

Conan, a Belgian Malinois, was sent into a tunnel to subdue al-Baghdadi during a raid on a compound in Syria.

Baghdadi killed himself after detonating a suicide vest, which killed himself and 3 of his minor children.

President Trump did not pet the hero dog, but the vice-president did.
