Fake Harlem Doctor Arrested For Killing Woman With Butt Injections

A 47-year-old Harlem man was arrested by the police this week for running an unlicensed medical clinic and for killing a woman earlier this year.

47-year-old Kevin Richardson was arrested by the police on Tuesday this week, and has been charged with manslaughter.

Richardson gave silicone injections to 31-year-old Latesha Bynum this year. She died afterwards.

According to the police, Richardson was running an illegal clinic in an unmarked building in the Gramercy Park of New York since 2013.

In his clinic, Richardson gave silicone injections, from the black market, to the people who were coming to his clinic.

On June 15, 2019, Bynum made the trip from Harlem to visit the clinic of Richardson.

The clinic, which is cash only, gave her silicone injections in her butt.

12 days after the procedure, Bynum started to feel extreme chest pain and became dizzy.

Bynum called 911, and the emergency responders brought her to the St. Luke’s Hospital in Mount Sanai.

She was declared as brain-dead upon arrival.

Michele Bayer, a prosecutor, said, “No one with medical training would have done this because it’s dangerous.”

Prosecutor Bayer added, “The victim, in this case, died soon after. All of these additional victims are in serious danger. The effects of the silicone entering the bloodstream could kill any of these victims and it’s not necessarily immediate.”

44-year-old Allison Spence, the assistant of Richardson, was arrested in September this year.

Allison was also charged with manslaughter.

Richardson was on the run and avoided being arrested. But he was arrested earlier this month.

This is not the first time Richardson broke the law.

The 47-year-old was once involved in robbery, and witness tampering.

If found guilty, Richardson can be sentenced from 5 to 15 years in prison.

He pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unauthorized practice of a profession.

Richardson is being held in jail without bail.

Richardson and Allison are to be presented in court on February 1, 2020.
