Here is the Reason Behind Google CEO’s Visit to India

Google CEO is expected to visit India and likely to meet the President and Prime Minister to discuss the company’s plans for India. But, there is another reason behind his visit that he will be the launching the second version of Google’s Android One phones. In the year 2014, there was a global launch of Google’s ambitious project to make pure Android available on affordable smartphones.

During that global launch, Sundar Pichai was in India who was in charge of Android at the time. But it continues to be observed if Google is capable enough to enter the new range of smartphones into the market as captivating as the cheapest Chinese smartphones. We need to wait whether the company will launch such mobiles with a price that will make it appropriate in the highly competitive Indian smartphone market.

However, Android One was not as successful as Google would have expected it to be. Pichai had also announced that Google will allow users to type in 11 Indian languages, including Narendra Modi’s mother tongue Gujarati on the Android platform. A couple of days back, a news has come out that the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella will visit Hyderabad on December 28 to meet CM K.Chandrashekar Rao and visit the T-hub in Hyderabad.
