Jio Launches Rs. 50 Cashback Offer On All Recharges Above Rs.300 Using PhonePe Transactions

Last week, it was the second anniversary of Jio, and since then it has been coming out with offers and for this occasion, it came out with very special offers. Firstly, it started giving out consumers complimentary 2GB data per day for a total of five days and then it made another offer of giving buyers a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate along with 1GB data at no cost. And now it has come up with cashback offers of Rs. 50 to all its prepaid subscribers on any kind of recharge that is above Rs. 300 with the condition that the transaction is done using PhonePe app. Now, as all the subscribers have the instant discount vouchers offer of Rs. 50 and thus this will bring down the effective price of all recharges above Rs. 300 by at least Rs. 100. The cashback offer expires on September 21 and can be used only once.

The new cashback offer by Jio is applicable only if the subscriber buys a recharge of above Rs. 300 cost using PhonePe as the payment method. Apart from that, users are at liberty to opt for BHIM UPI as the payment method of choice, but the transaction needs to be made through PhonePe with a bank account linked to it. Apart from UPI payment, the other modes available on PhonePe include debit card, credit card, wallet, and net banking. Buyers can easily access this offer using both the MyJio app and the Jio.com website. The affordable recharges that are above Rs. 300 is priced at Rs. 349 and after that, the recharge packs go up to Rs. 9,999.

The Rs. 50 cashback will come in the form PhonePe gift voucher balance within 24 hours of making the transaction and will be credited. The same may be utilized to pay for any kind of recharges, bill payments and for any kind of purchases on the partner stores of PhonePe, but cannot be transacted to any linked bank account. And in case of user’s PhonePe wallet limit reaching for the month disallows it, then the cashback will be credited on the coming first business day of the next month. As per the terms and conditions for this specific offer, the cashback offer will remain with the user as a PhonePe voucher in case of the transaction does not makes it way through, but the cashback has been credited. But to balance this voucher in such a case, the amount refunded to the user will be Rs. 50 less.
