Muslim Couple Arrested For Selling And Distributing Cocaine And Opium In Hyderabad
A Muslim couple was arrested in Hyderabad on June 18, 2019, for selling cocaine near Banjara Hill. The police recovered 9 grams of cocaine from the couple.
The police also recovered Rs. 300,000 from the couple, officials said that the money came from selling the cocaine.
The Hyderabad Police have seized a Maruti Swift car, it was used for selling the cocaine, a card swiping machine, and 4 smartphones.
The police identified the couple as 37-year-old Shaik Fahad and 27-year-old Salima Rabbiul, the couple was living in Brindavan Colony in Towlichowki.
Shaik and Salima are also believed in peddling cocaine in the city.
Earlier this month, the authorities in Hyderabad detained B Santosh and Mohammed Masood for supplying opium (pheem) and cocaine in Film Nagar.
The police seized Rs. 113,000 lakh from the two, 2 grams of opium, 7 grams of cocaine, and 3 motorcycles.
Shaik Fahad is believed to be the main supplier of the cocaine and other drugs to the two men, he suddenly disappeared when the two got arrested.
Shaik bought the opium and cocaine from a Nigerian National at Sun City for Rs. 6000 per one gram and sold the same drug for Rs. 7500 per one gram.
Shaik received the orders of the drugs through calls, chats, or WhatsApp.
