Before the release of ‘Kabali’, we saw Rajinikanth fans taking their love and devotion for the Thalaivar to newer heights. But now, an incident that happened on last sunday in Trichy will make you wonder if they have finally overstepped their limits.
Since its release on July 22, the movie has already made a stellar Rs 600 crore worldwide. The movie made Rs 48 crore on the very first day. However, the Rajni fans in Trichy want the movie to attain greater heights and sacrificing goats, they believe, would do just that.
If reports are to go by, Kabali has equalled the worldwide collections of Baahubali and surpassed Salman Khan’s Sultan, which earned Rs 550 crore globally.
Kabali earned Rs 48.95 crore on its first day alone. Toppling Salman Khan’s Sultan, which earned 100 crore in three days, Kabali earned Rs 110 crore in its opening weekend.
