Taliban Fighters Execute Famous Comedian Nazar Mohammad Because He Made Fun Of Them

Is this what they promised?

The Taliban have recently executed Nazar Mohammad, a famous comedian, after he made jokes about the terrorist organization

Mohammad, who is also known as Khasha Zwan, was arrested by the militants at the end of July.

A video of the comedian recently went viral and it showed the comedian sitting in the backseat of a vehicle right next to 2 Taliban fighters.

According to a report by LADBible, the comedian was taken from his house, was brought to an undisclosed location, was brutally beaten up and was shot multiple times.

Mohammad went viral on TikTok for his jokes, funny songs and for poking fun at himself.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of Taliban, has acknowledged and has admitted that the incident has happened.

Mujahid said that the 2 fighters who killed the comedian are going to be placed on trial.

However, there is another side to the story.

The spokesperson for the Taliban said that Nazar was working for the Afghan National Police and said that he was involved in torturing and killing a bunch of Taliban members.

The thing is that the Taliban recently said that they would not carry out revenge killings and announced that they have forgiven everyone in the country.

HRW associate Asia Director Patricia Gossman released a statement about the incident, saying:

Taliban forces apparently executed Khasha Zwan because he poked fun at Taliban leaders. His murder and other recent abuses demonstrate the willingness of Taliban commanders to violently crush even the tamest criticism or objection.

The Taliban recently said that they are not the organization that they once were and now they are going to promote for human rights.

They said that women would be allowed to work, they would be allowed to go to school and that they have forgiven everyone in the country who had fought against them.

But the thing is that they are just saying, the acts are not justifying their words.

Earlier this month, the Taliban spokesperson said:

Everyone is forgiven. All of them have been pardoned, nobody is going to be treated with revenge. In your homes, nobody is going to harm you, nobody is going to knock on your doors, nobody is going to interrogate you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the comedian, may his soul rest in peace.
