After the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, we have seen a sudden rise in the use of mobile wallets and net banking transactions. People have moved to using digital wallet apps like Paytm and Freecharge.
However, there has been some other effects too – great influx of jokes and memes, innovative ideas for queuing up before banks, purses and mobile cases with new notes’ images and not to forget the lucky notes with number 786 being sold on eBay!
Since the public started getting the new pink bills from November 10, there has been many stories they are not worthy of spending but just for clicking selfies. The GPS chip was a rumour so no luck with that. Of all the weird things we have heard since Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 went out of business this one wins through.
Yes, to make it more interesting a Bengaluru firm, Barra Skull Studios had a better idea – scan it and let people hear how PM Modi played his trump card and abolished old notes.
Don’t believe us, then check out the ‘Modi Keynote’ app for yourself. Once downloaded, turn on your mobile camera and see him deliver the speech, urging all to fight against black money. So, what if you missed the historical moment, live it again!
Watch The Video Here:
As must be clarified, the developers of the Modi Keynote are not associated with the government and have clearly mentioned in their Google Play listing that the app is ‘just for fun’.
The app has already made a lot of buzz on social media platforms and here’s what people who have used the app think about it.
See how Twitterati responded over it:
