ASRB LDC Result 2018 (DR) Declared, Skill Test Expected In August Last Week

Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board announced results of LDC (Lower Division Clerk) (DR). For the 2016 recruitment, examination was held on 24th February 2018 and candidates who attended the same exam can now check the list of shortlisted candidates available on the authenticated web portal www.asrb.org.in. The merit list contains roll number, name, father’s name and category of all the students shortlisted for the skill test. A total of 1030 candidates have been selected for the next level.

At numerous centres across the country, the online examination was conducted and now, candidates with higher marks than the minimum qualifying marks required have been selected.

Minimum Qualifying marks: Unreserved category: 45%, OBC – 40% and SC/ST/PD/Ex-Serviceman: 35%. Candidates crossed these marks are shortlisted.

Skill Test (Typing Test): It is the next level of the selection procedure which is expected to be conducted in the last week of August or early September. This examination will be conducted at the centres chosen by the candidates while filling the application forms out. Admission certificates for the test will be issued separately and candidates will get their venue, date and timing of the exam and other essential details on it. These admission certificates will also be issued on the official website of the department. Intimation regarding the skill test will be sent to students using their registered email ID or contact number (SMS).


How To Check Result

  • Candidate should know that the results are available only on the official website of Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board i.e. www.asrb.org.in.
  • A link displaying “List of candidates qualified for typing test for Lower Division Clerk Examination – 2016 at ICAR institutes” is present on the home page.
  • Once that link is pressed, a PDF file will open which comprise of details of selected candidates.

The number of selected candidates is almost 13 times the number of vacancies available (there are 78 vacancies).

To appear for the skill test/ typing test, candidates need to bring their admission certificate to the exam venue (it will be checked on the main gate same as done during the written test). Aspirants must reach at their exam center on time.
