Department of Higher Education (DHE) Odisha is going to release degree/ +3 admission second selection merit list 2017. With the implementation of e-admission procedure for +3 and +2 admission in the State, DHE has not only simplified everything but has also made the system student friendly.

DHE Odisha Second Selection List 2017:

The Department of Higher Education of the State Looks after education at University, Post-Graduate, Graduate and Higher Secondary level. It also provides Vocational Education in order to prepare the Youth for self-employment. The Department also promotes professional courses in Government and Private Sector. The Department further provides grant to a number of specialized and research institutes like Naba Krushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies and Institute of Physics. Odisha Plus 3 Second Selection List 2017:

DHE Odisha released notification and invited online applications for the Degree/ +3 admissions. A huge number of candidates who are eligible and interested applied for the admissions. Candidates who had applied can check the selection list from the direct link provided below.

The third list will be released for granting admission to degree courses will be released on 18 July. Classes for +3 1st year students will begin on 24 July 2017.

A total of 157188 candidates were placed in the first selection list out of which 82047 were female candidates. A total of 234893 applications were submitted for degree admission. Higher participation was visible in science stream followed by Arts and Commerce.

A total of 834 general colleges have participated in the e-admission process for 217973 sanctioned strength. As of now, 124748 candidates have taken admission. The second and the third list will be declared for the available 93225 seats.

Intimation letter to the selected applicants will be transmitted through five modes (i) SMS (if mobile number is provided in CAF) (ii) Email (if e-mail ID is provided in CAF) (iii) Website www.dheodisha.gov.in) (iv) College Notice Board (Applied College & Selected College) (v) Toll Free Number (155335 OR 1800-345-6770). Intimation will not be sent through the post.
